Michigan State Police say a Elberta man has been arrested for possession of cocaine.

In Benzie County on Wednesday a little before 5PM a trooper stopped a vehicle on US-31 in Colfax Township for multiple violations.

The driver 33-year-old Chad Sattler was found in possession of several metal pipes, two metal spoons, and a glass pipe with residue that tested positive for cocaine.

Sattler was placed under arrest and taken to the Benzie County Jail.

Arraigned on one count Possession of Cocaine Less Than 25 Grams, one count Operate Motor Vehicle Without Security/Insurance, and Habitual Offender fourth notice.

He was given a $10,000 and his next scheduled court appearance on March 14th.
